What are the benefits of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving?
Lincoln BlueCruise is a driver-assist technology that builds upon Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering to enable hands-free highway driving. BlueCruise helps make driving easier, more enjoyable, and less stressful, whether on long road trips, stop-and-go traffic, or your daily commute. BlueCruise accelerates, brakes, and keeps you centred in your lane with your hands off the wheel. However, you must keep your eyes on the road because a driver-facing camera monitors head position and eye gaze to ensure you are paying attention.
How does Lincoln BlueCruise differ from competitors?
BlueCruise differs from other competitors by offering true hands-free highway driving on 97% of controlled-access highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones. BlueCruise works in collaboration with the driver. Unlike some competitor's systems, you can temporarily take over the steering within the lane and BlueCruise stays engaged without turning off.
How do I check hands-free Blue Zone coverage in my area?
Lincoln BlueCruise operates on 97% of controlled-access highways (also known as interstates, freeways, or expressways) across the U.S. and Canada. These areas are called hands-free Blue Zones.
View our interactive map to see where the Blue Zones are located.
How do I know if my vehicle has BlueCruise?
You can verify your BlueCruise access and status, and renew the service, on the Lincoln Way™ App or your Lincoln Account under the Connected Services tile. If the vehicle has Lincoln BlueCruise capabilities, it will appear here and include your activation status.
